I'm carrying Remington Golden Sabre 124 gr JHP +p in my Glock 19, haven't been able to test it for real thankfully but I hear good things about it. I am considering getting the bonded version though, just in case.

Thats what's in my G17, the Golden Sabre 124 grain +P BJHP.

It works and is a proven round.

There are others out there that will probalby work just as well, but what really matters is whether or not they work in your particular gun.

    Doubletap 115 +p+ loaded w Gold Dots

    or

    Speer 115 +p+ w Gold Dots

The bonded bullet has better weight retention and keeps its structural integrity better than ordinary jhps.

I carry Federal 115grn +p+ hi-shok in my 9mms. Old tech stuff but still pulls ahead of the rest. If your not conformable with having ammo rated for +p+, I would recommend Speer 124gn +p or Golden Saber 124gr +p. Great ammo but still not like the Federal.

I prefer the heavier-for weight bullets; 147 Gold Dot, HST or Ranger-T, particularly in shorter barrels...as long as it functions with 100% reliability and is accurate and controllable.

Otherwise, any of the rounds mentioned in Guantes' post.

I carry 115 grain FMJs. Have 3000+ down the pipe and they always go bang.

I use Speer GD 124 gr +p, but Guantes' post sums it up pretty well!

If by "by pulls ahead of the rest" you mean it has less expansion than modern rounds and is easily plugged by drywall or denim, then yes, it does "pull ahead of the rest."
