I've was using Cor Bon Powerball in my Glock 19 for the longest time and was thinking of switching to the DPX. However I tried the same PDX1 round you are using in your 17 and have never looked back. I now have the PDX1 in all of my guns. Awesome round in my opinion.
124-gr. PDX1 is good ammo with a premium bonded bullet that costs more than double what Winchester's Ranger T 147-gr. (RA9T) costs. Suggest you consider saving some money and switch to Ranger T or Federal HST (P9HST4 or P9HST2) in 147-gr. Heavy for caliber weights outperform their lighterweight counterparts, with 124-gr. PDX1 being one of the few exceptions because it's basically a bonded Ranger T design.
Aim for the Thoracic Triangle Area between the armpits and the base of throat.
