    corrosion inside hollow points

i had a couple of questions about my corbon all copper hollow points. i was cleaning my gun the today and noticed some corrosion inside some of my hollow points. along with some dirt. now to the questions..

are they still safe to use? if so, are they still ok for defensive use? or should i just toss them in with the range ammo?

if they're bad, can i clean them and use them?

and also, unrelated to the corrosion, some of the bullets i can spin with my bare hands inside the casing. i can't pull them apart... but they do spin. is that bad? what should i do with them?

these bullets are not all that old.. maybe 6 months old.

Corrosion is not an issue. Bullets spinning inside the case IS a issue. They could, under recoil, move forward binding up your weapon, it has happened to me years ago with a few of my reloads.

Same EXACT problem I had with some CorBon DPX rounds I had. The insides started to turn green, typical thing for copper to do.

I've already noitced ALOT of my DPX rounds, I can spin the rounds inside the case.

I really like the good press and results people get with the DPX. It proves to be an awesome round. But I'll probably never buy them again. I'll stick to Range-T or the cheaper/easier to get PDX1's.
