    Curious About 400 cor-bon

Has anybody out here ever use this ammo? I got my conversion kit for my Glock about a year ago. It kicks a little harder, both in the wallet and in the hand. The kit was a pain because I had to send the barrel back THREE times to EFK. The last time I hade to send the slide with it because chamber was not deep enough to achieve full battery. I like to use the 400 Cor-Bon but, I would like to shoot it more to become proficient with this round.
Is this round worth the hassle of ordering reloading dies?

What do you expect it to do appreciably better than .40s&w?

I haven't seen any terminal ballistics data for the .400 corbon, but I would imagine the relation ship between it and .40s&w is similar to the one between .357 sig and 9mm. One has reduced capacity, increased cost and recoil, and offers no useful benefits over the more established round.

If you have a .400 Corbon barrel for your Glock it's got to be a .45. Most likely a mdl 30 or 21. That being the case, you'd be better served with the mdl 20 or 29 chambered in the 10mm. The .400 Corbon and the 10mm have similar ballistics, plus the 10mm is easier to find and cheaper when you find it. I just traded off a .400 barrel for a Sig 220, I don't find the cartridge anything spectacular, and I'm not reloading a bottleneck pistol cartridge! Nothing wrong with the performance of the .40 or .45, but if you want more I'd go with the 10mm.
