    Question Norma Centerfire Pistol Ammo

Has anyone noticed the scarcity of Norma centerfire pistol ammunition? I cannot find it anywhere. Did the corporation decide to concentrate their efforts on precision rifle ammunition and componets, and abandon their production of pistol ammo? Any assistance or information from forum members would be appreciated. Once upon a time in the late '70s, I found their pistol ammo, especially the brass, to be some of the finest quality on the market. I still have Norma brass in .44 Mag that I purchased in 1976 that is still servicable....I have reloaded such brass over 18 times with few case failures, and the primer pockets are still tight.

Norma has always made good ammo, but they always charged a premium for it.

Some time ago, Norma became part of the RUAG group which also includes RWS, which has a pretty full line of recreational and defensive ammo. Norma today is limited to hunting and some target ammo for rifles, and their catalog only lists brass for Weatherby ammo.

    Tkirk..............You're right.
I always look for Norma pistol ammo everywhere I go.....with no success.
Years past I thought that the Norma ammo I used was almost comperable to Super Vel back then........hot loads and well constructed.
Was wondering what happened myself......they produced a great product.
