    The Trooper Coates incident is all about tactics/awareness/H2H skill/luck, but not about caliber.

    Incidents in isolation are not helpful, but statistics in aggregate are.

    Do you remember when the 9mm 147gr hollowpoints first came out for use by the Navy SEALs? Gun rags said it was a horrible stopper because it didn't expand blah, blah. I asked my best friend who was on the Teams about it and he said the hollowpoints were developed to be the most accurate round they could carry.

    And since he shot everything in the head, expansion wasn't high on his list, but accuracy sure was.
