I know your not supposed to shoot lead bullets in a Glock. Are steel cases a problem, and does the polymer coating eliminate the lead fouling?

Poly coating is on the steel case.

I have shot a bunch of the steel case FMJ Tula ammo ( Russian) in my Glock 26. It is good cheap range ammo. Out of 400 rounds only had one problem, a FTF which was due to an improperly seated primer from the manufacturing process. It was really my fault for not noticing the problem when loading the magazine.

By the way, 90% of what goes thru my G30 is lead.

My fathers G19 hates steel Wolf ammo. I've shot plenty of aluminum through my G30 and it eats it up.
Since my Hk manual says not to shoot steel (I'm sure it wouldn't cause any issues), I don't shoot it through my Hk. But since my Hk and Glock share ammo, it's all brass. I'd have no problems shooting steel in my Glock if I had to.
I've shot Tula 9mm and .40 in all my Glocks. I thought I had a problem with it sticking in one of my Glock 22 .40 mags. As it turned out the follower was sticking. Took it apart, a little sandpaper, and it's working just fine.

You realize FMJ stands for Full Metal Jacket? There is no exposed lead to contact your bore. Which BTW I researched the Glock kabooms a lot and determined that lead was fine in my Glock as long as I kept the bore clean.
I haven't shot any Wolf .40 before but thousands of Wolf .45 & 9mm out of Glocks, & 7.62x39 and have never had a single problem. OTOH I haven't used any of the OLD lacquered cased stuff either. Try a few boxes to see if your gun likes them or not. IMO they are great range rounds. AND I don't have to pick up brass any more. YMMV
