Which options for SW625-8?
I will be picking up a S&W 625-8 and have some very elementary questions on ammo compatability....
Hoping someone here can help me out....
May I use +P .45 ACP?
May I use .45 GAP?
May I use .45 Super?
What is the recommended load for bowling pin competition?
Also any info on 45 AutoRim ammo is appreciated...
I have a GLOCK 37, hence the Question re: GAP....
Thanks and if anyone can recomend a decent leather paddle holster for IDPA, I'd appreciate it. This is my 1st .45 ACP revo....

in answer to your question
1 probably, but check documentation that comes with the firearm first
this gun uses clips to hold the rounds, and the differing case dimensions will be the problem, I checked the S&W website and it only listed 45 ACP could not find anything to say that +P was okay (or not), you might try contacting S&W....
45 auto rim AKA 45 ACP (automatic colt pistol) most comes in 185 or 230 grain bullet weights, this is a big slow bullet designed for the 1911 series of pistol (or Vice Versa) 800 - 1000 fps
Nice wheel gun though.....
maybe a range report (after you get it?)
