Over the years I've found a couple of .45 rounds that had held "top dog" position for a while and that shifted back into the case. Two rounds out of... lots. Something you should be aware of, but nothing to get anal about.

The man who has many guns is a collector. The man who has only one gun is dangerous.
    Then I'd say I'm a dangerous collector.

Never had an issue and I also use revolvers as well as semi-auto's. Lets see more good ammo questions. I also chamber check every bullet I shoot, and more especially "Social Ammo". If it does not pass it goes into the garbage pile, of which there are not many......

    oh crap...I did mean .008, not .08

I've tried several types of ammo and all of it seems to do this. anywhere from .002 to .008 per re chamber. I also chamber once and then set it aside for range use. I'm just interested in finding out who else notices this. IMHO, if you are not at least aware of this possible problem, you might just get those chamber pressure increases and a possible feed problem.

It's just something that is good to think about.

    Thanks for all the input.
After many years of consideration, I must regretfully conclude that diversity is our enemy.
