Looking to Mexico for ballistic data

We all know that the Miami Shootout raised a lot of questions about handgun ballistics. We also know that Mexico isn't exactly the safest place in the world right now especially the border towns. So it would seem to me that there is a plethora of data on ballistics that we could glean from the bloody streets of Mexico border cities. Is there a way we could collect this data since I am sure that if we could we would surely hit the mother load.

What sort of ballistics data would you hope to get from a third world country like Mexico? Just wondering...
