Quik-Shok Ammo?
I have heard that Quik-Shok ammo for .22 is a great little JHP. So I bought a few boxes when I found them. I don't know too much about them but yesterday I saw some Quik-Shok ammo in a shooting supply magazine. They had them for 9mm, 380, 40, and 45. But they seemed much lighter than other brands. The 40 was 135 grains and the 45 was 165 grains.
What are your thoughts on their centerfire cartridges? You should know that I'll be sticking with my Hydra-Shoks and Gold Dots. But I'd like to get some more infor on these rounds.

IIRC, Quik-Shok was a part of Triton, which produced EXCELLENT ammunition. Triton's doors closed, sadly enough...
I have been told, "American" bought the rights to Quik-Shok. If they are indeed loading this ammo, I would avoid it at all costs. American produced some of the worst lots of ammo, I ever tested.

Ditto - A-Merc 9mm I tested was so diabolical - it was not not even worth finishing up! My chrono results were wierd too - incredibly low figures - too low to be true I thought too.
I could not duplicate this stuff by reloading fully drunk and smoking illegal substances

The .22s are great; haven't used center-fires.
