Winchester Ranger t 165--ballistics & street perfomrance?
I am considering using Winchester's Ranger t series 165gr. for home defense .
Has this ammo performed well in the streets in regards (with proper shot placement) to incapacitating a BG?
Does this ammo penetrate deeply enough(12inches or more)?
Time to grab a cup of Java-thanks for your opinions>

I posted this link to your question about DPX in another forum...
Best Choices for Self Defense Ammo
If you check the .40 offerings, you will find the loads that make 12" with reliable expansion.
And, as Glockman10mm posted in your other thread here regarding DPX performance, there is no magic bullet.

Being a former Marine Corp Veteran I am fully aware that there's no magic bullet but having a better performing bullet just might make the difference (with dam good shot placement) that you survive any encounter.
I have seen some action and know that more then luck better be on your side or you can kiss you know what good-Bye!
