    I wanted to tell everyone...

I want to tell all my friends, enemies, supporters, nay-sayers, everyone, that I love, trust, and support the .380ACP. After many months of confusion, questions, denials, wondering, doubting, I finally did research (both hands-on and documented), on the .380ACP. So.... I'm happy to say.....

    I carry a .380 and I'm proud of it.

    That's it. Thanks for listening.

I hear ya, same here. I don't carry any of mine exclusively, but when I do, I feel just fine with it.. IMO, it's plenty gun for the riff-raft that most anyone would run into out there on a day to day venture.

Let's hope this thread can stay civilized and informative so we can enjoy it for what it is.

    It'll be fine.

as long as you never have to use it against a meth headed, drug crazed, totally physco crook that wants to put your head on a stick...

Those are the days that you excuse yourself and go back home and get the .45

It would have to be the .40. No .45s at home.

Yeah, that and on your way back home to gun up you're trying to figure out why in the hell you were in that part of town to start with, cause you know that a "meth headed, drug crazed, totally physco crook" couldn't have moved to far from his crib, so you must have made a wrong turn somewhere. But, instead of the .45 give the BG what's equal in weight by downloading three well placed 95gr .380's and possibly a security round to forehead, just for good measure. Hey ya never know, the guy might go zombie on ya right.

I hear 'ya. For the record, most of the time I carry a .380 also.

Actually, I read on a gun forum somewhere that statisically the meth headed, crazed, totally psycho crooks who want my head on a stick tend to operate on Mondays and Thursdays so I try to stay home on those two days.

What you carry isn't as important as the fact that you do carry...as long as you are proficient with it.

Said it before and say it again - a .380 will just barely kill a BG.
I was never a hero, but I am thankful I served among them.

Your comment made me think of a defense.....

If you're fully justified in pulling the trigger, pull it several times in quick succession. It should be fine.

Why didn't you go with the 32 acp? An even smaller package.
