Just wondering how often you change your carry ammo. The department I work for is about every 6 months however I know some guys that change about every month or two. I change mine with the department every 6 months.

Generally, each range session, I run my carry mag dry, and reload....
....So, since I rotate carry guns... put me down for weekly / biweekly...
Glad I did here recently. I cleared last week's carry, in preperation to put it in the lockbox, for the ride to the range, and the chambered round, instead of being 9x17 was more like 9x14.... the bullet went WAY down into the case.... (Was a CCI Blazer, here recently, I started staggering my ammo... 1 FMJ, 1 FHS, etc)

Generally shoot up carry stuff every 6 months or so.
Would be more often if not so pricey.

Every 6 months, if I can remember.

I said every twelve, but it is more like whenever I think about it.
I am usually pretty good about cycling out old ammo, but there are times where that has taken a backseat to other issues.
Whenever I go to the range with one of my carry pieces I usually shoot a mag full of my carry ammo and reload. I don't have a set schedule but my carry ammo ends up getting refreshed several times a year.
Every 2-4 weeks I shoot off my carry and backup mags.

Same as above... shoot my full carry mag every trip to the range.
Confidence inspiring, if nothing else :)
Liberty is an inherently offensive lifestyle. Living in a free society guarantees that each one of us will see our most cherished principles and beliefs questioned and in some cases mocked. It's worth it.
I took rotate carry ammo as being that box / batch that i am carrying from , so about every year would be right . for that , i shoot carry mags dry just wheneaver then reload them . Once a year i shoot up the ammo in stock and re stock ( carry ball ammo can be arround years but i dont buy a lot of carry ammo at a time , and replace it at least anualy )

I will shoot my loaded mag when I go to the range and reload, and I buy new carry ammo about 3-4 times a year, so I guess thats about 4 months or so.

Every six months if I can afford it!
I like a chance to shoot up some real ammo and not target stuff!
