I really wish they would come out with this stuff before Holloween. Cumberland County NC, Fayetteville NC, and Fort Bragg has implemented a 6pm-8pm trick or treat curfew because this place is that bad. Anything knocking on the door after 8pm must be a zombie and thus needs a Zombie Max to the head.

I think it is kinda funny, hokey but funny. And that guy wasted a lot of ammo with the body shots!

Let's see if the anti's think it's all in just "good clean fun".
Seeing how most of um try to make us all out to be, gun tote'n freaks, I can't seem to put my finger on the comedic side of the advertisement.
Sure we all know it's just hype and fluff, but it's also well known that the anti movement out there will take just about anything they can get a hold on and do there level best to make the headlines with it. For Hornady to glamorize death and destruction is IMO, poor taste. JMO so don't get all jacked up at me; my point is strictly based on the possible negative reaction from the advertisement against our right to carry.
I can almost hear it now. (They put this on Facebook for anyone to see. My kids don't need to see this stuff) blah blah blah....

This is a promotional deal being done with a few major companies. It's just being done for fun. One of the TV shows that deals with hardware reviews also made an episode that they tied into this "zombie apocolypse" to have some fun. Look at how often different shooters bring up the ZA discussion. It's just having fun with the the fake scenario that we are all discussing.
My response to Hornady:
I have reviewed your promotional material for the Z-Max load, and find it very informative. However, I believe that you are missing a great marketing and public service opportunity. The real threat is not so much from zombies, but rather vampires and werewolves. You can corner this market. Develop a silver tipped hollow point bullet and fill the hollow with a small piece of wood (a mini-stake). This would provide a multi-purpose round effective against both vampires and werewolves. You can call it the VW-Max. (I think "Silvertip" is already taken by some other not to be named company.) Happy Halloween.
