Same weight as the Crit Def FTX, same ME (383 ft/lb), same velocity, same price.....same round, only with a green-tinted casing and green plug. I might get some just for fun, but it's no different than the Crt Def FTX

Do you feel that their assembly on this particular ammunition is not up to par or they are less critical in quality control inspections than their normal ammunition? Have they lessened the quality in some way that would make it less effective?

I look at things like this the same way as those that engrave guns with the fancy scroll work and the different colors and metal finishes. Heck a pink revolver? Not my cup of tea but as long as it's not a lesser quality than what the company otherwise produces it's all a matter of choice.

There can be fun and laughter in shooting sports without compromising the safety and quality of equipment.

Look at some other sports where the equipment is totally a life safety issue such as the racer going 300+ miles per hour in a car painted like a graveyard or the colorful outfits of the downhill skiers.

I can say that I'm 99% sure I won't be buying any zombie rounds but I don't think it makes the shooting sports less serious where safety is concerned.

I'd gladly trade having zombie ammo advertising over the "male enhancement" commercials or the cartoon bears with toilet paper stuck to their rumps.

Why not replace the green plug with sterling silver? It would be nice to have an all purpose round that also works with lycanthropes.

Let's see if the anti's think it's all in just "good clean fun".

Seeing how most of um try to make us all out to be, gun tote'n freaks, I can't seem to put my finger on the comedic side of the advertisement.

Sure we all know it's just hype and fluff, but it's also well known that the anti movement out there will take just about anything they can get a hold on and do there level best to make the headlines with it. For Hornady to glamorize death and destruction is IMO, poor taste. JMO so don't get all jacked up at me; my point is strictly based on the possible negative reaction from the advertisement against our right to carry.

I can almost hear it now. (They put this on Facebook for anyone to see. My kids don't need to see this stuff) blah blah blah....

Give them an inch.. Stop walking on egg shells around those types. Stop giving a rats you-know-what about what they think. Start standing up for liberty and free markets, and quit hiding in the shadows afraid of what some pinko's might think. If you dont like the ammo, dont buy. But never condemn a business for trying to be a business... there's too much of that bull snit today.
