    With my XDm .45 and two spare mags I have 40 rounds on me. That should be enough.

    Sometimes I carry just one extra mag but iLife the option of carry all 40 rounds of .45 and it really isn't that heavy.

    I'm guessing you don't ccw in tshirts and sweat pants?

    I switched to 45ACP from the 9mm after 8 years but it still doesn't do you any good if you can't hit what your aiming at. Practice, practice, practice & you'll like it even better.

    40 rounds!! Gee are you that bad a shot!!! only kidding LOL

    The 45 will get the job done, but it's also a fun gun to shoot.

    That's why I love .22s. Everyone goes "why do you like .22lr so much? isn't it more fun to shoot centerfire?" and I always respond with "$18/550 at Walmart. And no, not always."
