I have a question about Double Taps .357 Mag. ammo that is topped with a 125gn Win SJHP.
I am a product of the "designer" bullet generation. Is this bullet a good one. I am assuming so since Double Tap is a reputable company. It should also be noted that Double Tap advertises a MV of 1425fps out of a 1 7/8" barrel! If nothing else, they should be a handful! Any advice will be much appreciated.
Just about all the major ammo manufacturers have competitive "designer" bullet loadings for defensive use these days. I'd be more comfortable carrying a proven round from one of the majors, rather than one from a niche supplier, until there is credible evidence of its real-world performance. Just my opinion, worth exactly what you're paying for it.
