If your assaillant obliges and drops his arms to the sides and presents you with the perfect, squared chest shot, quite likely.
If he's bladed, or has arms in front of his chest (as if wielding a weapon)--or both--no, quite likely not.
I guess it depends if you think you'll have a cooperative assailant or not...
