    FMJ, preferably a flat point

This question seems to come up on a regular basis...maybe time for a sticky?

Check out the testing at GoldenLoki.com. Hard to get a JHP in .380 to both expand and penetrate to 12-15 inches. I'll take the 16-17 inches of penetration that FMJ gives you.
The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.

Hornady Critical Defense. Someone on another forum stated that after he saw a body that had been shot by HCD, he would never question the effectiveness of a .380 again.

The magazine currently loaded in my LCP is full of Corbon DPX. Good expansion and penetration. Back up mags have Powerball and Buffalo Bore Hardcast FN.

I don't think I would want to be shot with any of these....

    I have the 80 gr. COR-BON DPX in my .380. It's been 100% reliable.

FMJ... as heavy as I can find. I look at it like a birdie putt... you might have the aim right on, but if you don't hit it hard enough it's not going in.

After reading as many reviews as I could find, I also settled on Winchester PDX1.
