If you are shipping the ammo to your home address, then you might as well just provide a copy of driver's license. However, if you are purposely not shipping the ammo to a home address in attempt to hide or not provide your home address, then send a copy of your passport ID page, if you have a passport. That doesn't have your home address on it. Other than those...not sure what else would be accepted by a reputable online ammo dealer as ID...maybe military ID.
Are you concerned about something on one of your ID's that you are asking this question?

I buy most of my ammo online and have never had to provide ID. The only time I had to show my ID to buy ammo was at Walmart, only once.

Some suppliers require proof of age before they will ship handgun ammunition. I think that is what Cold is referring to.

In some states the seller is required to verify that you are 21 to sell you ammo. I've given my DL to MidwayUSA, MidSouth Shooter, and to SGAmmo.com. In purchasing a weapon on Gunbroker.com I've also had to give ID for the weapon purchase. If you're worried about it then buy from your LGS or get Lifelock protection.

Many ammo sellers on Gunbroker.com want a faxed or mailed copy of your drivers license before they will ship.

yes I was referring to age as high pockets said I orderd some Gold Dot today 31.50 for fifty plus ship.

Cold I assume the $31.50 was for 50 rounds of 45 ACP or 357 Sig. as that seem high for anything else. Please check out this site if you only got 20 rounds or it was 9mm or 40 SW!

I know that is high it was for 9mm but when i decided that my cc ammo was not right.and could not fined any. had to have right away man thing.
