I prefer the 124Gr myself but the 147 grain will work just as well

Today I fired the Ranger ts 147 with my ccw LC9, The LC9 loved them and they are now my SD ammo.

I like the penetration of the 147-gr. 9mm loads and the subjective decreased recoil compared to the 127-gr. +P+ Ranger load. My new 9mm carry loads are either the 147-gr. +P HST or the 147-gr. standard pressure Ranger T.

At the Mexifornia aka Cali-Fornia PD I'm consulting for uses the Winchester Ranager T-series +P+ in their MP-5s. If they carry a 9mm their using the +P 124gr.

I've tried the +P+ in my HKs. The +P+ in the P2000 SK is a flame thrower and in the P30 it seems to get close to burning all the powder but there is still a larger flash than the +P. If you had something in the line of a 2" barrel I'd worry about expansion, but the P250 compact barrel is 3.9" so the 147gr through it should provide the expansion you desire. I'm making the assumption you have a compact and not the P250 380 sub-compact?
