    If you're using the x39 for defense or hunting, go with a good soft point designed for hunting. If it works for deer it'll work on BG's. Not quite the options there are for .223/5.56. With x39, you pretty much just use a soft point. Russian soft points don't expand much if at all due to their hard steel jacket.
