    CorBon 150 in Taurus PT140 .40

I'm new to the forum and the Taurus PT140 .40...I wanted to get some info/opinions.

LGS sold me Magtech 180 for the range and CorBon 150 for protection. Sounded good at the time but what are suggestions.

Also, how many rounds of the CorBon should I practice with before I sit them aside forever more as my carry rounds???? At nearly $1 a round it will be hard for me to squeeze those off!!

    thanks!

Well I've been using Cor-Bon since the very begining. I'd practice with your range ammo and get use to your gun...Then throw the Cor-Bons in and get use to it. You might feel a little more kick, but your accuracy should be a lot better. When I go to the range now, I'll shoot off a box of magtech or what have you and once in a while I'll shoot a clip of my Cor-Bons just to make sure I still got it;) I use 135gr in 40 by the way.

I have a Pt140 that gets alot of shelf life. But I do use corbon in my carry firearm, which is a .45. I usually use WWB for the range, and load a magazine of corbon once in a while to get feel, and use up older ammo.
You should replace your carry ammo periodically to ensure reliability. The time period varies per who you talk to, but I replace at least once a year.

I personally do not think you can go wrong with corbon pw r balls, the pistol thinks they're ball ammo and they hit hard and xfer their energy to the target
