Well, the brass cased Wolf 5.56mm worked very well for me. No feeding, firing, extraction or ejection problems. 100 rounds down the pipe like a loud sewing machine.

Some folks have reported issues with the stuff in 20" barrel ARs, but I had no problems in my 16".

The new poly coated 7.62x39mm shoots great in my Mini 30. Using an Aimpoint fixed 2X am capable of 2-3 " at 100 yds. Never had any feeding, ignition, or extracting problems. Shoots a lot faster than any American product. Chrony puts it at 2500 fps. Wollf claims 2390 fps. Go figure. Dgang

    Wolf Ammo...

My Beretta 9000S in 9mm eats up the Wolf ammo...never had a problem...I did take the time to actually clean the individual shells before firing...this seemed to have helped.

Messy, jams, and hard to load in the magazine. For 50cents more you can buy some brass cased Blazer ammo. I personally think it is crap, made my .45 SS Milpro look like I threw the action in an old fireplace.

There is no gun that will eat all ammo. My Taurus PT-92 will perform flawless with everything but S&B. I have gone as far as feed it mag with assorted types of ammo and will only hiccup when an S&B round lands in the chamber.

My side by side Rossi HAMMER 12 has fired PAPER shotgun rounds over 50 years old. Better to qualify that one with there is NO semiauto handgun that will feed ALL ammo....

Sorry Miggy. I'm busy writing and I'm on a deadline with multiple projects. Too much at stake...like early retirement maybe.

I'll have to try some S&B in my Rock. I know some folks think they're junk, but I have not had a single malfunction yet, and have done as you said, stuffed all sorts of mixed match ammo in the mag just to see if it would still run, and it did.

Maybe S&B can cause it to hiccup.

Discalimer: It was broken in by my brother in law with a few hundred rounds before I got my dirty hands on it, so that is probably a factor in the flawless performance thus far.

Back on topic, Wolf works but it is dirty stuff.

Back off topic: Glad to see you back Ex.

    I've used the new Wolf and haven't had a problem with .308, 9mm, .380 or 7.62x54R.

I will never buy Wolf .30carbine again. It turned my M-1 carbine into a jam-o-matic

Is all Wolf ammo crap or ...
I've heard far too many people indicate too many issues with Wolf ammo of all sorts, and that's not including the comments some folks post on internet forums. While it's inexpensive, I fear it's also cheap. If I had dozens of firearms that including some plinking varieties, that would be one thing. But, as I have carry pieces, frankly it's not worth my life to pay for such uncertainty. The karma genie is simply too witchy to test probabilities in that way.
