    .40 S&W ammo prices

I recently purchased .40 S&W winchester white box (100rds) for $17.95 at wally world. Discovered these prices on this forum. I was paying $24.95 at the range. How am I doing? Is there another better priced source?

Where I'm at it just climbed a couple of $$'s for .40 WWB 100rds. It's now 17.95. It was 14.95 3 months ago. I need a better source also.

You are doing good, wally world is cheaper than anything else I can find. May have to pay tax, but, not shipping.

My .40 caliber price at Walmart was similar

I paid the same as you did ($17.98 per 100) a week ago for some .40 caliber WWB at Walmart - I looked back at my receipt. This has gone up a dollar or two in recent months at Walmart, but I think most ammo prices have been going up this year.

I also found my receipt for .40 caliber CCI Blazer from Natchez from June this year - $7.29 per box of 50, and I bought 10 boxes. Of course there was shipping, which came out to about $1.30 per box of ammo I bought in that lot, so my "100 round" price on the Blazer was about $17.20. And I suspect that the Blazer pricing since June is probably up as well with Natchez.

For me, Walmart and Natchez are close to equal for .40 caliber.

Bass Pro Shop's (Outdoor World) 100 rounds Winchester shite box, 165 and 180 grain .40 S&W for $15.98. Looked like a good price to me, but I just hit a gun show today and saw an entire case of the same thing for $117.
