I occasionally carry an LCP or CM9 during the warm months when shorts and a T-shirt are a must, and when I carry my LCP it has Golden Saber 102gr in it. I would not feel undergunned in any way carrying some hot Buffalo Bore FMJ, or hard cast flat nose. Quite honestly if your worried about thicker clothing then go with FMJ, at least then you KNOW that it can penetrate the necessary depth, and that is by far more important than another .1-.2 inches of expansion.

You asked a perfectly normal question, but the answer you will always get is to stick with one brand/type of round in your mag. Safe shooting! The LCP is a great little gun, a .356 inch hole is still a .356 inch hole.

A Ruger SP101 in .357 Magnum loaded with Speer Gold Dot 158gr JHPs solves the problem of even having to think about it.

You don't have to worry about this with a Glock 36.

Buffalo Bore 100 grain hard cast flat nose +P. That should get the all important penetration.

I use Hornady Critical Defense 90 grain in my S&W Bodyguard. One thought that seems to be missing in this thread is reliable feeding and accurate shot placement. I am confident in both with this ammo.
