    Lehigh Defense Maximum Expansion 45 ACP and 9MM Quick Test

    I made it out to the range yesterday and did a quick test on the evaluation ammo from Lehigh Defense. Had some fun with exploding water jugs.

    Denim and SIM-TEST tests are coming. I don't test barriers like sheet rock and glass.

    The Maximum Expansion rounds, not surprisingly, do not reach the FBI desired 15 inches penetration...some seem to just reach the minimum of 12 inches.

    Lehigh Defense Maximum Expansion Ammunition

    I cannot imagine anyone affording enough of this ammo to establish reliable feeding in a semi-auto pistol, at the prices they are listing.

    at $50 plus a box of 20 rounds remember throw-down money.

    it may be less expensive; forget about the courts--just the cost of shooting them vs
    giving them $50 to go away.

    as for the cost to function test them, heck, i can only afford to shoot them one at a time anyways
    as i've noticed about others--that they do not always do as i think they will nor often as they say they will.
    this not only makes life interesting, it makes it dangerous too.

    For Sale 1985 Toyota Supra. one owner, 82K, will pass inspection, only needs some body/rust patching
