    The 180gr Prvi Partizan FMJ rounds are cheap and my M&P likes them, plus they have a soft push like recoil.

    I'm interested in knowing why you chose 135gr over the top three choices.

    Well a lot of ammo types were left off that list, doesn't mean they are bad. Those rounds listed are the best performers.

    I'm just wondering why he has chosen the 135gr as his carry round, considering there is no real data on its performance unless I'm wrong.

    I bought some of the 135g 40 S&W at the gun range sometimes as that was all they had at the time. I used to keep one my pistols loaded with it for years as well but once I saw the ar15 list last year I do not anymore.

    My FNX .40 likes just about everything, but I feed her a lot of 155 / 165gr.

    Both my Sheriff's Dept. and my son's Police Dept. issue Gold Dot 180 gr ammo in 40 S&W so that's what we carry.
