I ran the test in June, but just today got the chance to finish up the pictures and video.

Nice! Looks like either would get the job done under typical conditions. Good penetration, decent expansion..

Very nice, thanks for the research and information. Great round for defense IMO; same round that I carry in my PM9 and CM9.

Nice, Thanks for sharing
looks like a great round, thanks for testing..
Wow, talk about timing.
I just picked up a box of both the Standard and +P rounds recently.
Thanks for taking the time to test and share your results.
Nice test, Thanks. I like Hornady Critical Defense/Duty ammo. Very reliable.
Very nice video indeed, Im not much a fan of Hornady any more after doing several tests into Balistic Gel, had some fail to open in .45ACP, .40S&W and .380, and the ones that do expand just dont expand very far, which can be a good and bad thing, also had some rounds that just went puff and luckily had enough power to send the bullet out the barrel... so after those problems I just dont have any confidence in them.. only use Winchester Ranger T's and Federal's HST or Speer Gold Dots..
Better performance than the critical defense, however the Gold Dot, PDX1 & HST are all duplicating this penetration with better expansion.

Looks like both rounds offer impressive performance. Thanks for the letting us see the results.
I'd like to see a meat test of this round.
The Critical Defense bullets tend to fail in this medium.

I would also like to see documentation supporting this claim, please.
While SimTest is not calibrated gelatin, it yields results that are surprisingly close to what we see in gelatin. There are a multitude of tests (many of them by TNoutdoors testing this design) on YouTube that show just how well it does.
