What is the part # on the side of the box? The HST is not a bonded bullet but Federal also makes a tactical Bonded cartridge that is not classified as HST.

I believe the part number is P40HSTI. It doesn't specifically say "part number" but that's the only one I can find besides the lot number. It says right on the box cover "HST". It also says on the side of the box "This ammunition is designed and manufactured exclusively for sale to law enforcement agencies".

    GB,
That is the HST, if it was bonded the part # would be LE40T1. I have seen tests where the HST does very well through barriers even though it isnt bonded. Check out Tnoutdoors9 on you tube. He does ammunition reviews and has some great videos.

I try to stick with bonded stuff for any SD ammo. As long as it has that it should be ok unless you gun just can't cycle it for some odd reason. Even if it's not bonded it'll probably do fine since these are the modern days.
