See this notice: Winchester Ranger Recall

This could be the issue with Ranger T-Series also?

What are the odds of this being linked to the 165 gr round in the other models?

As far as I know? Winchester uses the same cases for both there T-Series and their Bonded series of ammunition. I've tried to find out if this affect other Winchester 40 S & W, but i haven't got any feed back.

The Ranger is out of stock for Striecher. Damn, SgAmmo said they had not had any new product in over a year. I'm guessing the stuff is not being made/shipped anymore.

No it is still being made, but DHS seems to getting all the shipments they need? Your tax dollars at work!

Looks like there are several boxes of Win Ranger T RA40TA available on GunBroker auctions, a number of different auctions from the same GB user.

Have you tried contacting Sam and company at SGAmmo? They are pretty responsive.

I did, they indicated they had not had stock for nearly a year and did not have an ETA for new stock.

While I have a good supply of the T-Series, I also carry the Speer Gold Dot as it has as good a field experience** as the T-Series.

SGAmmo has it is stock: 50 rd box - 40 cal Speer Gold Dot 165 GR Hollow Point ammo 53970 | SGAmmo.com
