Interesting timing on this question. I have fired thousands of rounds of 115 grain S&B in both my Walther PPS and my M&P. It has been flawless, up to now. Last week I started to experience FTF in about one in eight rounds. I looked at the primer strikes and noticed that they were hitting both light and slightly off center. I cleaned the striker assembly on my M&P (after some 6,000 rounds seemed like a good idea) and the problem seemed solved. Yesterday however, I did experience two more FTF with the same symptoms. The gunsmith at the range said that he thought it was probably the ammo as the problem is so intermittent. Perhaps just a bad lot?

I have had significant problems with S&B ammo failing to fire when struck by firing pin (glock). I have stopped buying it. Recently I was at the range and a person renting a range gun brought back half a box (50) of ammo that failed to fire (you have to buy range ammo for rentals). I was totally not surprised that it was S&B ammo.

I've shot a lot of S&B and never had a single issue with their ammo.

I've shot hundreds of round of it and Herter's from Cabelas's (manufactured by S&B)...never had an issue with any of it.

    S&B .38 Spl ammo

Yesterday I fired 100 rounds and had 6 FTFs. Never had a problem with any other manufacturer. Normally I use Federal but the local store was out and only had the Czech flavor.
