    Sellier and Bellot ammo

I was at my local gun shop and they are selling 50 round boxes of Sellier and Bellot ammo for $10. I picked up 2000 rounds for my infamous class. I had 2 malfunctions through a Glock 19 which I believe were magazine related but otherwise I have had nothing but flawless execution with this ammo. It is a bit less expensive than other ammo as everything else seems to sell somewhere between $12-14/box.

I have shot a lot of S&B .30 carbine and haven't had any problems with it. I will say the their buckshot does not have a cup and make wide patterns which is okay for range use but I would like a tighter pattern for HD.

In general, I've been very pleased with S&B for the better part of the last ten years. If I had any complaint about it, it's that they sometimes get little overzealous in applying that red lacquer primer sealant.

Can't say I've ever had a problem with Sellier and Bellot.

It's typically loaded a little hotter than other brands. It has harder primers it seems too, giving me a few FTF's in my 9mak until I swapped in a heavier hammer spring. It's good ammo, no doubt.

I have used this ammo. I noticed it is not the cleanest but works well.

I've had good luck with the S&B ammo in 9mm, 45ACP and 12ga buckshot. Reliable, and seems to be fairly consistent from lot-to-lot. As some have said, it's not the cleanest stuff out there. Decent stuff, IMO.

My first 500 rounds were good, then the next order had too many failure to feed issues. Quality control slipping maybe? I have not used it since. If it works, keep shooting it.

Works fine for me in both 9mm and .38. A bit dirty but I usually clean after every shoot. It is my go-to "value" range ammo.

I did notice the .38's caused slight cylinder bind in an old Model 60 no dash, but the .38's work fine in all my other .38's/.357.

Has a distinctive smell, not bad, just unique. Certainly not the skunk smell that I detect when I shoot super colibris out of my .22....

I've never had any issues out of any S&B ammo I've ever bought and fired. Center fire rifle, or pistol ammo.

I've fired a couple hundred rounds of 9mm S&B, no issues at all. It seems like a good budget ammo.

I have used Sellier and Bellot .223 ammo on my RRA 5.56mm AR-15 rifle and I have no issues with it.

I have went through seven cases(so far) of S&B 115gr.FMJ.It's definitly the hottest range ammo out there.Yes it's a little dirty, but I 've never had a failure using it.

Nice to read this about S&B ammo. I bought 300 .38 special rounds, solely for the range. I guess I just assumed it would be "dirty". In hindsight, I'm not sure why I thought that. I haven't had a chance to get to the range yet.
