The number of people killed because they didn't have "enough gun" is dwarfed by those who had none at all.
Neither, I don't trust hollow point ammo in a snub. If it were me I would try to find some standard lswc ammo. The flat face and sharp shoulders help ensure full caliber holes, and also good pennetration. And in cold weather climates I always opt for pennetration over expantion. Do your part and the ammo will do its job. That's just my 2 cents.

At the moment I'm using Federal P38N LSWHP 125 grain +P .38 spl.
For .357 I use Federal 125 grain JHP 357B or Remington R357MI
I sometimes use the Federal 158 grain P38G SWCHP, but feel something is lost in the short barrel.
