No that's not HST. It might be Hi-shok, the previous generation to the HST. I wouldn't buy it unless it's cheap and would be for SHTF or stockpiling.

If the SEALs developed and used this load, it was probably 30 years ago when all 147gr 9mm sucked.

Yep, looks like Hi Shoks. They're not bad, but not the best bullet available today.

I saw some military ball 9mm at a gun show being advertised as "Navy Seal" ammunition and having a jacked up price.I just hope Haynes doesn't come out with a slogan "The underwear Seals wear" or I won't be able to afford them

The Federal 9MS load is just the 147 gr. HiShok of the 1990s. It should behave no differently that other 147 gr. JHPs of that period- similar to the 147 gr. OSM load (aka the WinchesterUSA 147 gr. JHP)

That will go great with my official Navy SEAL toilet paper.

Seriously, this kind of marketing stuff annoys the heck out of me. Seems like a lot of parties invent borrowed imprimaturs of organizations that would never engage in such frivolous endorsements.

Sorry, I guess it's the curmudgeon in me coming out again.

LOL.....people are in business to make money. I would suspect the boys have fired many types of rounds over the years, so many could be sold as "been" used by the SEALS.

It's not SEAL ammo. Hollowpoints are outlawed by the Geneva Convention. Winchester has a contract for 147 gr with the FBI. More than likely it is contract overrun.
