Looking for a cleaner 45 ACP round for the range

Can anyone recommend a cleaner burning 45 ACP round? I currently use 45 ACP WHite Box for my range sessions but am getting tired of the amount of unburned powder left in my handgun. Looking for something that isn't going to break my wallet but am will to spend a little extra for a better practice round. Thanks

I've found that S&B (Sellier & Bellot) is a great range ammo. I've heard some people don't like it, but I've never had a problem with it. It's cheap and burns pretty clean. I've recently switched to Independance (Federal) as it is cheaper (for .40 and 9mm). I sold my .45 (a Sig P220) before I switched ammo, but it fed and fired the S&B just fine.

Federal American Eagle seems pretty clean to me.

I shoot Blazer almost exclusively for outdoor practice...not too dirty and works great.

For IDPA we shoot Winclean, Remington or Federal cleanfire ammo. The Federal shoots so clean it looks like unfired brass!

Unfortunately, all the clean fire ammo is fairly expensive.

    +3 for the Blazers.

Inexpensive, shoots accurately and shoots clean.

I've found that anything from Federal is a good clean ammo. Blazer brass is pretty good, but the one I shoot now is Magtech. I put 100 rounds through my p10 yesterday, and it isn't very dirty at all. This is also the most accurate range ammo that I've found for my gun.

I shot my first box of Blazer Brass today and can only say that it is the dirtiest ammo that I have ever shot from my pistol! I would rather shoot MFS ammo. It shoot a little dirty but not near as bad as the Blazer stuff, of course YMMV! Federal also shoots clean for me.
