Honestly, before I got into reloading, I would pick up boxes of Blazer in 45 and 9mm as it was accurate, cheap and didn't leave a lot of residue when cleaning time came around. Since I wasn't into reloading at the time, and didn't feel like paying for another guy's habit, I saved money by buying aluminum casings. Something to look for when you're buying ball ammo.

I have several online ammo stores bookmarked and I shop around when I need more. I buy in at least 1000 round lots and try to get American brands. I haven't had a single problem yet with nationally known brands.
