Great presentation. The Ranger T in .45 +P is what I'm currently running in my .45's.
I would have expected a little more velocity from a +P round.
Looks like good stuff.
I'm always impressed with the "pretty" symmetry of the bullets that expand in the various test media, but I'd really like to see them side-by-side with bullets recovered from "real world" use.
Me too, but I'm sure they are controlled evidence. It's also illegal to hunt with a 3.3" barrel in my home state so that avenue is also a dead end. I'm open to any suggestions on securing some real world examples.

I agree. Gel tests aren't necessarily representative of how a bullet will perform in a real SD shooting, but it does provide a good standard with which you can compare the performance of different rounds.Quote:
