Before the election, I bought 20 boxes of .380, 20 boxes of 9mm, 20 boxes of that 555 count .22. and 20 boxes of .38. I'm good for now.

When I think of "stocking up" I think of case loads, not boxes. Just my distorted view.

BTW, don't be bashful about stocking up on FMJ... when it's crunch time, the stuff you launch downrange doesn't all have to be high-tech expanding bullets. You'll get more for the $, too.

I'm with you. I almost never buy less of a case (1000) of any given round at a time. Then again I go through ~50% of that in a month at the range. The exception would be my carry JHP rounds, I tend to buy those in lots of 500 since I don't shoot them as often.

I only buy in bulk, best bang for the buck. Id post a pick but all you'd see is metal mil containers stacked up almost to the ceiling.

Folks would "fruit up" if they were aware of the ammo and components on hand here.

I can't see myself dropping hundreds of dollars at a time ammo...at least not with the current house renovations going on. I figured people would reply saying they have cases to the ceiling. The way I see it is having ammo alone is better then not having any at all, which why ammo is addicting... you always need to have a constant supply.

I lost all my ammo in a tragic boating accident. Fortunately no people or pets were harmed.

I might have more invested in ammo, than I do in guns...

I have enough stock of "Social Ammo" to open a gun store. In the last week I have had 2000 rounds of Ranger T's delivered. My reloads are coming along nicely for range use with plenty of more pieces to make several thousand more all with no extra taxes on them.

Where is your ammo pile? I only see a few rounds sitting on a table.

Every time I think I have enough, I see a good price on something and say, well, maybe just one more carton...
