Highly requested test so I did a long barrel and short barrel test. I put the long barrel video up first and hope to get the short barrel produced in the next day or so. I had sworn off 147 due to poor or non-expansion in some early tests. No problems like that here.

This is the first of your YouTube videos that I've seen. Excellent production. This just happens to be the load I am presently carrying in all three of my 9mm's. Good job on the video. Looking forward to watching more of them.

In all honesty, I don't find any issue with nframe357's statement. I feel the same way because the 147 grain bullets of the 90's were junk. I tested some in early 2011 and they were still junk from short barrel pistols. They just didn't expand.Thank you for sharing your extremely logical insight.
I'm a bit more objective and will be spending some time testing some of the newer offerings because my readers/subscribers have asked me to do so. With a few more test results like this, I may change my opinion of the 147.

Great videos, Ljutic! I'm too new to firearms to fully understand the 147 grain 9mm hate, however the newer offerings definitely look impressive. I'm still deciding on a defensive ammo for my new XD9. I'll have to give these a try. I'll probably have to order these, everyone around my neck of the woods seems to mostly carry 115 grain only for 9mm.

Federal HST is all I shoot, if a gun doesn't feed it well I sell the gun.
