I've never fired the +P+ ammo, so I can't help you there.
My home defense ammo is Hornady Custom 9mm Luger 147gr XTP. My range ammo has been changed to 115gr standard load. I have been using 124gr for the range, but as soon as my last case of 124 is used up, I will not buy any more 124gr.
