    SAAMI video of ammunition in fires, and impacts....

    This is a pretty neat video... I'd be in favor of this vid becoming a sticky. Valuable information, especially for firefighters.

    I cringe at seeing all that ammo going up in flames. Great post thanks.

    It's a good thing they filmed that earlier in the year. If they tried to do it during "The Great Ammo Famine" we are currently experiencing, they'd have fools rushing into the flames to try and score a few boxes of .223!

    You are right about that!

    Amazing, they say over 400,000 rounds were used in making the video. Near the end they used 115,000 rounds in the fire fight test of the retail store. And 252,000 rounds in the semi-trailer burn test.

    Conclusion: "Sporting ammunition does not pose a fire or accident hazard substantially different from other common commodities, and in fact a less of a risk than many household products."
