    New safer ammo

Yea a 9mm bean bag round! Maybe good for an Air Marshall, but not out in harms way!

No mention of effective range and the issue with drug enhanced BGs!

That's reason I only carry snapcaps in my EDC. I feel they are much safer for myself and the BG.

The last word I want associated with my defensive ammo is safety.

Isn't this what pepper spray and tasers are for? To subdue a target that is threatening but not to the point where lethal force is required. Lethal force is lethal for a reason. When it's needed, it's needed REAL bad. Why remove the lethal option?

What happened to the rubber bullets you hear so much about in the news.

This is just another type of "less-lethal" ammo that's being developed - it clearly states in the article that it is 12 gauge. The rubber buckshot is junk, and the fin stabilized are probably "more" lethal than this thing appears to be. Good for them for being entrepreneurs and coming up with an original idea.

I saw that they were 12 gauge rounds but Fox shows ain't image of handgun ammo and talks about sky marshals. I guess the sky Marshals are going to start carry shotguns.

FOX = news = no facts checked, stock photos, making things up. Sky Marshalls with shotguns will be perfect. Or maybe they can get one of those new fandangled .410 2.5" revolvers?

I want a kindlier, gentler ammo. One that screams compliments while racing towards the bad guy. Things like-- "My, what a wonderful shirt".

    This quote makes me SHM...
"It will be a lot safer for the officer and for the person being shot."

    - Jim Greer, CEO of Integrity Ballistics
If a LEO gets the point they have to shoot the perp, why does thet perp need to be safe....I am really missing something here? I am going to go out on a limb here and guess the the LEO's are not too thrilled at the prospect of shooting "synthetic balls" while getting shot back at with "non-synthetic balls"....I am not buying stock in that company, who's going to buy it...unless of course LEA are forced to do so..
