Im just curious if anyone knows if hornady uses the same xtp bullets in the tap and custom pistol caliber lines? And are these the same bullets you can buy for reloading? Thanks
Yes, Hornady uses the same JHP bullet in both "Custom" and "TAP" SD ammo lines and the XTPs are available as reloading components.
The only difference is that the "TAP" line uses a nickel-plated case and flash-supressed powder.
And you don't want them. There are MANY better options out there.
The xtp is a good bullet. But there loaded ammo has been questionable.
I use the XTP bullets for most of my pistol reloading.
The situation will NEVER BE THE WAY YOU WANT, it WILL BE THE WAY IT IS. You must be FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO ADAPT and just "DEAL WITH IT".
