40 S&W ammo 180gr
So I bought this ammo for my SD40ve because it was cheap and so far I love to shoot it at the range. No failures and dead on target.....So my question is?????
On the back of the box it states, "NOT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT USE."
This is Blazer Brass 40S&W 180gr FMJ.....Maybe someone knows why this is labeled like this?
who knows, prob just something they think it should read, and the fact it is FMJ's ...
The wording "NOT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT USE" on the box is most likely there for liability reasons- indicating that it is not suitable for certain applications protects the end-user and the manufacturer from all sorts of unpleasantries.
It's because of FMJ and no expansion.
And just to add to the question. If you buy some good SD rounds online such as Federal HST or Winchester Ranger T, they will say for LE use only. But as long as you are of age to buy pistol ammo i wouldn't worry too much. Most everyone i know carries one or the other or some other "LE use only" round
I'll buy it and use it all day long at the range. Cheap and reliable, and not too dirty to shoot a lot of it.
That is why I am buying Blazer Brass 180gr FMJ.....saving the brass as well for reloading.
