i use remington 180 grain hollow points. extra mag has remington 180 full metal jackets. their cheap and my gun eats em great. it doesn't matter if u use critical duty gold dots or w.e the bad guys still going to have a hole in him. i wont spend arm and leg for special rounds inless their armor piercing or something like that. but thats just me

I use HST, because it's LE only and I think the T stands for "Tactical".

But seriously.... I use it because it feeds in my guns and is reasonably priced, available in bulk, and performs well.

I like Federal HST or Speer Gold Dots, sometimes in the short barrel version, depending on what sidearm I'm carrying.

147 gr Golden Sabers. They function flawlessly out of my PPS and are cheap. Personally, I believe all of the premium SD loads will do the job they are intended to do. Thus, frankly, I go with the cheapest.

For my j-frames (442 & 640) I use Buffalo Bore standard pressure, short barrel, low flash 125gr .38 spcls JHPs.

In my Smith model 66 I have Buffalo Bore short barrel, low flash 125gr. .38 spcl +P JHPs, and I carry 1 speedloader with Buffalo Bore short barrel, low flash .357 mag JHPs.

My Glock 30 is loaded with Winchester Ranger T-Series 230gr JHP.

In .45ACP (an HK USP45), I load the Hornady 230 gr. +P XTP JHP.

    In 9mm (a Glock 17 or 19), it is the Winchester 147 gr. PDX1.
