It depends on the firearm and what it has been known to feed well.
Hornady critical defense. Lots of good write ups and works well in my firearms
Critical Duty 135g +P.
For my GP100 hornady critical defense 158g and BB 180 LSWC in the woods. My LCR BB short barrel 38 special LSWHP.
Hornady Critical Defense in 9mm.
.45 Federal 230g HST +P

I like HSTs and Ranger Ts when I can find them.
I like the Winchester PDX1. Never know when I may have to shoot thru a wall or windshield lol.
Gold Dot or HST for pistols, Critical Defense for revolvers.
Gold Dots in everything. 9mm,.38sp. and .45.
Anything that goes bang and comes out the barrel at a high rate of speed and is on target, that works
...Gold Dots for .45, 200 or 230 gr...
...Winch Ranger 127gr+P+ JHP or Rem Golden Sabre(I think 115gr) for 9mm...
...Remington 158gr+P LSWCHP for all .38s/.357s...
Speer Gold Dot 230 gr in .45 and 124 gr in 9mm.
