About a month ago, I placed an order at Cabella's for some .223 ammo that was on sale. It was pre-panic prices, too. They said expected delivery was Jan 28th. Well, I just got an email from Cabella's and being so early in the morning, I thought they shipped it. Nope.....extended the backorder time to Feb 28th.

Just to make you feel better, I stopped at Cabelas yesterday here in Utah and they dont have any in the stores either. In fact, the only pistols in the counter were 1911's and those started at $1,295 for a Kimber UCII. The handgun ammo shelves were bare ... literally.
