The only sales limits were on 9mm and they no 7.62 x 39mm.![]()

Nice, I wish I could be that lucky. Going from store to store and seeing empty shelves seems to be a common thing for me most days.
I went on a quest today to find a large volume of .40 FMJ range ammo for an upcoming training class, and found plenty at the Cheaper Than Dirt retail store in Fort Worth. They had a large amount of Federal, PMC, and Estate range ammo. Definitely more expensive than in the past, but readily available.

buying online is the only way i've been able to keep feeding my m&p practice ammo - no local places i've visited have any common handgun rounds in stock
Looks like some local pawn shops have ammo as well. Never thought to check there.

Pawn shop over here is the only place I've seen guns other than shotguns. No AR type rifles but they did.have some Browning and Ruger bolt actions and a few new Glocks.

This is why I reload. Received 4K new 115GR 9MM Bullits from Cabellas, already had plenty of brass, primers and powder. My LGS limits powder and primers to 1lb or 1K primers per person per day. So I go get 1lb powder, 1K primers and then my brother does the same and then his wife does the same. Fully stocked up for the next few years since I loaded up in the 1990's, and again in early 2008 and again in 2011. Success has a repeating value for those that understand what is really going on here. If you have no ammo or the ability to make or get it, your gun is useless!

The local Wal-Mart here finally had 22LR here after several weeks of empty shelves. They have a three box limit, but two was plenty for me.
Was at Dunhams tonight and had a small selection of every popular handgun ammo, limit four boxes. Had a small amount of rimfire, limit one bulk pack. On way home stopped at Wally World and they just put out WWB in .380/100 pk. Bought one.

I don't know about the prices compared to other online stores, but Cheap Ammo For Sale | In Stock Ammunition For Sale seems to have stock on the more popular sizes.
